Rebirth
This painting represents the hope and wish of rebirth. The Phoenix represents the rebirth after the destruction. In this painting, the woman-puppet wishes to obtain control of her life, no longer a puppet, but instead a complete woman with a full awareness of herself.
This painting inspired the poet and writer Manuela Maria Pana to create a poem that is now part of the collection
